“It has been 3 weeks since the SDF-1 Macross and its island namesake disappeared in a mysterious accident. since that happened, entire crews of naval vessels have scoured the oceans searching for any sign of survivors or remains of either Macross island or the ship itself. scouring the nearby islands, the members of the UEDF R/R/R (research/rescue/recovery) teams have searched tirelessly. a team housed on board the UES Norfolk and its escort now set sail for the small island of Vesta Mestiska to investigate strange reports of unnatural and strange phenomena hoping to find a clue as to the fate of the SDF-1. however, time is against the team as a tropical storm threatens the island forcing the Norfolk to wait off shore anchored down while team makes contact with the locals and investigates the island.”
